ABOUT EMS
Green County EMS is a private, non-profit, volunteer community service organization. We have been providing emergency ambulance service to Monroe, Wisconsin and the surrounding communities since 1974. We serve the public as a team of dedicated, compassionate, volunteer professionals by providing quality emergency care, education, and community service.
Green County EMS consists of approximately 55 regular volunteers. Seven regular members and seven community advisors make up the Board of Directors. Our service is licensed by the State of Wisconsin to provide service at all levels, up to and including Paramedic.
We are always looking for new members, and we hope to inform and encourage you or someone you know to become part of our team. Residency is not required. Our volunteers come from many cities and towns outside of Monroe and Green County. If you think you are the type of dedicated individual we are looking for, and have a desire to help others in need, please submit the contact form.

EMS Oath
The EMS Oath
Be it pledged as an Emergency Medical Technician, I will honor the physical and judicial laws of God and man. I will follow that regimen which, according to my ability and judgment, I consider for the benefit of patients and abstain from whatever is deleterious and mischievous, nor shall I suggest any such counsel. Into whatever homes I enter, I will go into them for the benefit of only the sick and injured, never revealing what I see or hear in the lives of men unless required by law.
I shall also share my medical knowledge with those who may benefit from what I have learned. I will serve unselfishly and continuously in order to help make a better world for all mankind.
While I continue to keep this oath unviolated, may it be granted to me to enjoy life, and the practice of the art, respected by all men, in all times. Should I trespass or violate this oath, may the reverse be my lot. So help me God.
