Green County EMS is a paid on-call staff. This means that we have active personnel serving emergency calls 24/7, 365 days per year. We are a dedicated team of individuals that believes in rising to the call of serving our community and our residents. We require staff to fulfill an average of 8 hours per week, and we are flexible with your schedule. We want your service to be rewarding, fulfilling, and beneficial. 

Sadly, there is a nation wide shortage of emergency workers and volunteers. The result of this shortage is that when your family, friends, and loved ones make the call for help, there may be no one to answer, or there may be a significant delay. 

However, we believe that the people of Monroe and Green County care deeply about our success and sustainability. We care about service to community. We care about strength, about  perseverance, and about getting the job done.
